Domestic Violence and Abuse Service
What is it?
This is a free and confidential service for 11 to 18 year olds who are experiencing or have experienced domestic violence and abuse. This can either have been through witnessing fights between parents or family members, or having the violence, aggression or abuse directed at you. It can happen in your own relationship with your girlfriend or boyfriend. It may be that you feel someone is controlling you in what you say or do or wear and are worried that things may get worse.
What can we offer?
- A safe place for you to come and talk about things that are happening.
- A chance for you to think about what you want to do – if anything.
- An opportunity to be told about your rights and for you to ask any questions that are bothering you.
- A chance for you to just offload on us or to take matters further with our help.
