Domestic Violence & Abuse Service Manager
Full-time Post. Salary: £22,221 - £26,276. 30 days annual leave. Office-base - Midsomer Norton or Keynsham.
Primary Purpose:-
To manage and develop the Domestic Violence and Abuse Service which provides prevention education in secondary schools and one-to-one support for young people who are affected by Domestic Violence and Abuse. This will include implementing an exciting new initiative that is part of a national learning project funded by Comic Relief.
Essential Criteria include:-
A relevant professional qualification for working with young people including youth or social work, teaching, health & social care. A minimum of two year’s experience of working with young people and able to demonstrate achievements. Experience of participation work with young people and working with safeguarding matters.
Evidence of the following qualities includes:-
Able to establish and maintain good working relationships with groups and/or individuals, and a range of statutory and voluntary agencies.

This is a Fixed-term contract - Off the Record has funding for this post until 31st August 2012.
