Are you interested in supporting young people, contributing to your community, sharing your life and professional skills to help benefit the organisation? Then think about becoming a trustee.
As a charity Off the Record has a board of management that consists of volunteer trustees. Trustees have the responsibility for running the charity and overseeing the employment of staff and volunteers, finances, premises and ensuring quality delivery of services for young people. The role of trustee is vital in enabling the success of the organisation and a range of skills, knowledge, expertise and commitment is needed to guide the running of the organisation.
Being a trustee can be extremely rewarding and provides opportunities for personal and professional development. You can gain new knowledge and experience working with trustees, staff and volunteers from a range of backgrounds. You would be working as part of a team to help with planning the strategic future of the organisation, make policy decisions and ensure that what we do benefits and makes a difference to young people’s lives.
