  • Loss of a child
  • Communicating your needs and making informed choices about your own and your children's future

Who can we help?

Examples of how we have helped

  • The project has advised a young father on his rights as a parent, including providing information on access to legal advice
  • The project has provided transport and accompanied a young mum to a toddler group
  • One young parent has been supported with her financial situation, including providing advice on budgeting matters, enabling her to manage her debt, and helping her to fill in forms to access possible grants
  • The project has supported many young parents with their housing needs, including informing them of their choices in terms of housing, accompanying young parents to the housing department, and supporting them to access housing benefit
  • Many young parents have also had home visits from the project, to inform them of what benefits they're entitled to, and how they go about accessing this
