Who can use OTR’s services

Anyone aged 10-25 years old living, working or studying in Bath and North East Somerset
 

How much are your services?

All our sessions are completely FREE. We can also help out with transport costs if that’s a barrier to you attending, just let us know.

What services do you offer?

  • Wellbeing services, which provide talking therapies for young people including Listening Support and Counselling.  Find out more.

  • LGBTQ+ youth groups, 1:1 support parent support group. Find out more

  • Participation groups to help young people effect change. Find out more

  • Councils for care experienced young people. Find out more

  • Advocacy services - helping young people to speak out when things go wrong, get the right support and understand their rights. Find out more


 

Where can I access your services?

  • We offer listening support and counselling in central Bath, Keynsham and Radstock.  We also provide these services in every secondary school, college and university in BaNES.

  • Our LGBTQ+ and participation groups take place in central Bath.

  • Advocacy work is carried out across BaNES.

How long will I have to wait?

For our listening support and counselling services, the wait can be up to 12 weeks for your first appointment. Of course, we aim to see everyone as soon as we possibly can, but we have lots of people needing our support.

Our groups can generally be accessed more or less immediately after you’ve registered an interest. The date of the next session will be confirmed when you contact us.


How are you funded?

We are a charity funded through a mix of grants, donations, Local Authority commissions, and contracts with education providers. Our listening support service is funded entirely through grants and donations.
